Toilet Tube Frog Craft ForKids

As a child I remember going on walks with my parents in the woods and around ponds and lakes. One of the things I really enjoyed was looking for Frogs. My dad would tell us stories about finding frogs when he was a child and it’s something tat has always stayed with me. As frog season is upon us I thought it would be great to share a few fantastic Frog themed posts here on The Inspiration Edit. Our first post is a Frog toilet tube craft which was really fun to make and I’m so excited to share. I’ve made a template if you would like to download the head, feet and tongue. Enjoy.

Let’s Make It

To begin with you will need to paint your Toilet tubes green. I gave my toilet rolls one coat but you can do more than one coat if needed.

Next download and print out the template. Use the pencil and templates to create five frog heads from the Green Cardstock. Create 5 pairs of feet and 5 tongues.

Once you have cut out your frogs feet, use the glue gun to glue the feet to the bottom of the toilet tubes.

Once the feet are complete, cut out five tongues for your speckled frogs from the red cardstock.

Using a black permanent marker or posca pen, draw eyes and a mouth onto your speckled frogs faces.

Next roll the red cardstock up and glue the end onto the mouth of your frog using the glue gun.

Next hot glue the frogs heads onto the top of the toilet tube. I placed the glue onto the tube and ten stuck the head onto the tube.

Now it’s your turn. Why not have fun making these speckled frogs with the kids or you could make it yourself as a mat time or story making resource.

  4. They look fab, my five year old daughter loves making things out of toilet roll holders, she used to pretend they were bandages and I’d have to draw on them like plaster casts but now her hands are to big to fit in them lol xXx
