Instructions
To begin with, you will need to paint your Toilet tubes green.
I gave my toilet rolls one coat but you can do more than one coat if needed.
Next download and print out the template. Use the pencil and templates to create five green heads from the
Green Cardstock
.
Create 5 pairs of feet and 5 tongues.
Once you have
cut out
your frog's feet, use the
glue gun
to glue the feet to the bottom of the toilet tubes.
Once the feet are complete,
cut out
five tongues for your speckled frogs from the
red cardstock
.
Using a black permanent marker or
posca pen
, draw eyes and a mouth onto your speckled green faces.
Next, roll the
red cardstock
up and glue the end onto the mouth of your frog using the
glue gun
.
Next
hot glue
the frogs heads onto the top of the toilet tube.
I placed the glue onto the tube and then stuck the head onto the tube.
Now it’s your turn.
Why not have fun making these speckled frogs with the kids or you could make a toilet tube frog craft yourself as a mat time or story making resource.
It’s simple to do and something I found enjoyable. I’m sure the kids will find it super fun too.
