Life Lessons Rudolph Teaches Children
One of the reasons I love doing Rudolph crafts with children is because of the many valuable life lessons he teaches. Here are 5 life lessons that Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer teaches kids:
Don’t Judge. Rudolph teaches kids to embrace diversity and not to judge others by the way that they look.
You can’t escape your problems. No matter where you go, your problems will follow you. It’s better to face them head-on. Or, in Rudolph’s case nose-on.
It feels good to help others. Children learn the importance of giving rather than receiving.
Just because your teased doesn’t mean you aren’t special. Rudolph was able to help Santa because he was different. This means whether a child is picked on for being a dork, loser, or outcast, they can still be special.
Adults make mistakes too. Nobody is perfect. Rudolph’s father learns that he made a mistake trying to hide his son’s nose. Kids learn that even adults aren’t always perfect.
