🧑🎨 Expert Tips
- Segmented Instructions: Break the crafting process into short, labeled segments so children can focus on one manageable task at a time without feeling overwhelmed.
- Mini Pauses: Build in short pauses between steps to let kids reset their focus, especially helpful during detail-heavy portions like horn decoration.
- Distraction Check: Set up a clutter-free workspace where only current materials are visible to help maintain attention through each phase of assembly.
- Verbal Reminders: Use simple verbal cues or countdowns to signal when it's time to shift from one task (like gluing) to the next (like decorating).
- Repeat Motions: Encourage repeating small motions—like pressing with both thumbs for even glue pressure—to improve focus and task consistency.
- Visual Timers: Use a sand timer or countdown clock so children know how long each part of the craft should take, promoting pace awareness and calm progress.
