How to Recycle Crayons Dinosaur Style

Step One: Heating the Other Before Melting Crayons

Preheat your oven to 275 degrees.

Step Two: Breaking Up Your Crayons

Unwrap your broken crayola crayons and break each one into little pieces.

Recycle Old Crayons in a Mold

Place the crayon pieces into each mold.

Mix and match the colors or make them solid.

Crayon recycling can be a creative and fun process and so you can make multicolored crayons or solid colored recycled crayons.

Place the Dinosaur Mold Onto Baking Tray

Put your dinosaur mold onto a baking sheet and place in the oven for 7-8 minutes or until the crayons have melted.

Remove the recycled crayons from the oven and let cool until they are completely solid.
