💡 Pro Tip: Let each child stamp their own bear layout without correction—this preserves their natural fingerprint shapes and keeps each design one-of-a-kind.
🧑🎨 Expert Tips
- Even Pressure: Apply light, even pressure while pressing fingers down to keep the shapes clean and rounded without blur or over-squish distortion.
- Spacing Control: Leave small gaps between each fingerprint used for the head, body, and limbs so features don’t blend or lose their defined shape.
- Dry Finger Reuse: Wipe fingers between prints when repeating to keep outlines crisp and avoid accidental smudging of surrounding areas.
- Vertical Flow: Align the body parts vertically with small adjustments so the design stays upright, especially if displaying the piece as a hanging ornament.
- Face Centering: Place the smallest fingerprint at the very top-center of the cluster to represent the head and allow easy placement of facial features.
- Multiple Layouts: Practice different finger groupings on scratch paper first to explore which spacing makes the bear look more playful or upright.
