Instant Pot pasta recipes is one of my daughter’s favourite types of meals. In fact, Sylvia’s absolute favourite has to be Instant pot spaghetti and meatballs. It’s such a simple easy recipe and one we love.
We have been experimenting with different pasta recipes in our Instant pot and today I am sharing a list of easy instant pot pasta dishes that both the well experienced Instant pot cook and the beginner can both enjoy.
I’ll begin by sharing this delicious Instant Pot Puttanesca Pasta dish!
Is Pasta Healthy To Eat?
Pasta is a healthy food when eaten in moderation and with the right foods. Pasta can be part of a healthy diet and whole grain pasta is better than white, however both are high in fiber and nutrients.
When eating pasta, it’s always great to think about the toppings. Adding a healthy home made sauce is going to be much better than a shop bought sauce. However you can use either and add healthy and nutritious vegetables to the mix to bulk out your meal.
I tend to add beans to several of my pasta dishes to add protein which is more filling and we always have a side salad.
So long as you eat in moderation and think carefully about the way you cook your pasta meals, it can be a great food source for the whole family and of course having a tasty indulgent creamy pasta from time to time is not going to hurt when eaten alongside a healthy diet.
