The Three Bears Wooden Slice Ornament For Kids

Who loves bears? Well, I love the story of Goldilocks and the three bears and so does my daughter. In fact, Sylvia often talks about the story when we have porridge for breakfast.

Today we have the 3 Bears Wooden slice ornament which will make a fabulous Christmas decoration and is a fun and easy craft for kids. We sure hope you enjoy this tutorial.

How to Make This DIY Christmas Decoration

Paint the wood slice dark brown. 1-2 coats. Allow to dry completely.

Three Bears Wooden Slice Ornament

Cut a muzzle from light brown felt. Refer to the photo. 

Glue the muzzle onto the wood slice.

Cut an oval circle (nose) from black felt. 

Glue the nose on top of the light brown muzzle using the scissors.

Use a black paint marker to draw on eyes.

Cut small half circles from dark brown felt.

Cut smaller half circles from pink felt.

Glue the pieces together. 

Put a dab of glue on the middle of the felt half circles and pinch together.

Glue the ears on top of the wood slice.

Use a white paint marker to add detail to the eyes.

Glue twine onto the back for hanging on a Christmas tree.

This is a tutorial on how to make three bears wooden slice ornament.

Materials

  • Wood Slices
  • Glue
  • Twine
  • Dark Brown, Light Brown, Pink and Black Craft Foam
  • White Paint
  • Paint Brush
  • Black & White Paint Marker

Tools

  • Scissors

Instructions

    Paint the wood slice dark brown. 1-2 coats. Allow drying completely.

    Cut a muzzle from light brown felt. Refer to the photo. 

    Glue the muzzle onto the wood slice.
