During Halloween, all the vampires, werewolves, witches, and monsters take to the street. This Vampire puppet is a great way to teach kids about legends as well as not to be afraid of things that may seem scary. After all, we think our vampire puppet is kind of cute.

Fun Vampire Facts for Kids

One of the best things about making Halloween crafts is learning about all the scary stories, legends and myths that go along with them. Be sure to teach your kiddos what a legend is and that they don’t have to be afraid of vampires because they just aren’t real. Here are some fun vampire facts that go along with those legends:

  • Vampires have very sharp fangs.
  • They look pale and have no reflection in the mirror.
  • A vampire can put a human in a trance so they obey their commands.
  • They sleep in coffins during the day.
  • A vampire likes to bite a person’s neck to drink their blood.

Ten Vampire Boy Names

If you’re wanting to know what a popular vampire name is then here is a quick list of male vampire names.

  • Athan
  • Damien
  • Luther
  • Silas
  • Vladamir
  • Salem
  • Hannibal
  • Liam
  • Sabien
  • Oberon

Let the kiddos choose their own creepy vampire name for their puppet.
