Female Vampire Craft the Vampiress
As a mom of a girl, I think it’s important to encourage girls that they can like the same things that boys like. One year my daughter wanted to be a vampire, but thought it was a “boy” costume. This female vampire craft is a great way to teach kiddos that there are girl and boy versions of almost any costume. Get your girls excited to become a Vampiress!

What Is a Vampiress?
A vampiress is a female vampire! One of the first vampire stories with a female vampire was was Carmilla! She was our first Vampiress! I learnt about Vampires by watching the teen drama series The Vampire Diaries. To learn more about where the Vampire Diaries was filmed you can visit The Fairy Tale Traveller.
The Best Female Vampire Names
Just as our male vampire, female vampires have a variety of different names. When kids are done with their craft, you can have them pick a vampire name for their vampiress! Here are a few of the most popular:
- Carmilla
- Ambrosia
- Lilith
- Lucinda
- Victoria
- Jezabel
