Bubble art is a lot of fun because it helps the kids be creative and have a beautiful piece of art to show at the end. Make certain to pair this up with some fun Dr. Seuss books as well so that the kids can read and create at the same time!
Supplies Needed for This Dr. Seuss Bubble Art Project
- Cardstock
- Chalk Markers (optional for detail)
- Light Blue Paint
- Paint Brush
- Bubble Wrap
- Newspaper (or something else to cover your surface)
- Glue
- Scissors
How to Make This Bubble Art Cat in the Hat Project
STEP 1
Download the template.
Step 2
Lay out something on your surface to help with the mess. Use a paintbrush to paint the bubble side up of the bubble wrap with blue paint.
Step 3
Once you have it painted, push the paint side down on a white cardstock. Press gently so that you don’t smear the paint.
Step 4
Once done, take off the bubble wrap and let the paint dry. It needs to dry completely before the next steps.
Step 5
Open the template and print the fish bowl on the painted paper.
Step 6
Print the fish bowl water on the white paper and the fish on orange paper. You can also print and color in the pieces as well.
Step 7
Cut out everything.
Step 8
Assemble and glue the pieces on colored paper.
Step 9
You may have to use two sheets of cardstock as this craft is big.
