What Size Charcuterie Board Do I Need?

A good size board for a party is around 12 x 18 inches. If you don’t have a board this large use something smaller like a wooden cutting board.

Remember you can take care of any overspill items by surrounding your board with small bowls for any items that won’t fit.

Alternatively, you can set up your charcuterie directly onto a clean tabletop. It depends on how many people you have attending your Easter dinner or party.

How Much Charcuterie per Person?

This Easter Platter is more than enough for 8-12 people and this festive holiday board will make a great dessert following your Easter Appetizer and main meal. Consider it the third course! Unless you plan to graze all day, then this can be a delicious grazing board to enjoy throughout the day.

There are many different types of charcuterie boards for all occasions. For this particular Easter board, I’d recommend around 1-2 oz of treats per person.

There is no cooking or baking involved in making this board, just lots of sweet treats. However, if you love to bake, you can try making some cookies and treats in advance.

  • Bread slices, crackers, and pretzels.
  • Cured meats such as salami, pepperoni, prosciutto, ham and chorizo.
  • Meat is a fantastic way to add savory to your platter. Seasonal produce and vegetables such as chopped or baby carrots, celery sticks, and snap peas. Veggies will make your Easter platter healthier for sure. This is great for any vegetarian guests you may have.
  • Delicious dips, such as hummus, or cheese and onion dip.
  • A variety of cheeses can help create a beautiful board. For example, white cheddar, brie, or a variety of cheese board options. Don’t forget honey goat cheese, which tastes amazing.
