Valentines Treat Bags Monster Style

Today I have the most adorable Valentines Treat Bags to share. They are perfect for a classroom treat, to give to friends or hand out at the school Valentines disco. My daughter is attending a Valentines dance and is super excited. I hope you enjoy this tutorial.

How to Make Valentines Treat Bags

Download and print the monster template. Click Here for your download.

Cut out the monster template and trace onto coloured cardstock.

Cut the monster out.

Cut thin strips of white cardstock. Cut small nails and glue onto each finger of the monster. Allow the glue to dry completely.

Glue a glitter heart shape onto the belly of the monster.

Glue the hands on top of the heart.

Glue googly eyes onto the monster. Allow the glue to dry completely.

Draw a mouth onto the monster.

Cut white teeth and glue onto the mouth or cut a black shape for the mouth, a red shape for the tongue and white teeth.

Glue everything together and then glue onto the monster.

Cut coloured cardstock and glue onto the monster here and there to add personality.

Add a heart shaped nose for a cute Valentine’s Day touch.

Use paint pens (or markers) to draw stripes, dots or whatever you want onto your monster to give it little more personality.

Glue the monster onto the treat sack. Allow to dry completely.

Your treat sack is ready to be filled with candy, sweets and favours! This is sure to make someone smile!

  • Treat Sacks (lunch bags)
  • Scissors
  • Googly Eyes
  • Glitter Heart Shapes
  • Black Paint Pen
  • Coloured Paint Pens
  • Glue

Instructions

1. Download and print the monster template. Click Here for your download.
2. Cut out the monster template and trace it onto colored cardstock. Cut the monster out.
