Delicious Cookies With Reese’s Pieces

Warm, ooey, gooey, chocolate chip cookies get a burst of extra flavor when you add peanut butter Reese’s Pieces! And since they are colored orange, yellow, and brown, they are perfect for autumn.

Did you know there is no chocolate in Reese’s Pieces? When making Reeses Pieces recipes, a lot of people assume these candies have chocolate. But they are just peanut butter flavored, so I added in chocolate chips and M&Ms for chocolatey goodness.

If you want your cookies more peanut buttery, you can eliminate the chocolate chips and use more Reese’s Pieces.

This is a kid-friendly recipe and a great way to spend time with kids in the kitchen. You can even use this baking session to teach basic maths and measurement, making family fun an educational learning experience.

These Reese’s Pieces chocolate chip cookies are a yummy autumn treat that would be perfect for a harvest festival or fall-themed school snack.

  1. Question could you add oatmeal to the cookies to make them oatmeal chocolate chip cookies without it messing up the recipe

    1. I think that would be okay…I’ve not tried it with oatmeal but you’d need to cut back on the flour a little to compensate for the added dry ingredient.

  2. Yum! I made these yesterday and everyone loved them. I did accidentally buy peanut butter m&ms but it was a happy mistake! I’m sure both ways are good. I think these will be my go to chocolate chip in the future, especially as you can obviously use whatever colors are seasonal for m&ms, not just fall. Mine were actually Halloween green, purple and orange.
