How Will You Know When These Autumn Harvest Cookies Are Done Baking?

Since these are a softer cookie, you’re really going to have to rely on your timer to tell you when they’re done. Once you remove these autumn cookies from the oven, you’re going to want to let them rest and firm up a bit before eating. They might appear really soft but as they cool, they should firm up.

Ingredients for Your Autumn Cookies

  • ¾ C unsalted butter softened
  • ¾ C light brown sugar, packed
  • ¼ C sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 C flour
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • 1 C chocolate chunks
  • 1 C semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 ½ C Pumpkin Spice M&M’s

How to Make the Best Fall Cookies

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line two cookie sheets with parchment paper

Using a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking soda and salt

Using a large bowl, beat together the butter, brown sugar and sugar
until light and fluffy

Beat in the egg until combined

Gradually beat in the flour ingredients until combined and a soft dough forms

Fold in the chocolate chunks, chocolate chips and pumpkin spice

Using a medium ice cream scooper, scoop cookie dough onto the cookie sheets

Bake in the oven for 12 – 15 minutes or until lightly golden brown

Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before enjoying!
