Disney Moana Doll and Figures Set
Disney Moana Adventure Collection Doll and Figures Set
Last week Sylvia received the Disney Moana Adventure Collection Doll and Figures Set from Hasbro. It was perfect timing and I was able to wrap up the present for Christmas and watch my daughter opening her new toys.
Moana is the new Disney Movie which was recently released. Sylvia is of Polynesian descent just like the Disney character Moana and we recently went to watch the movie at the Cinema. It was fantastic and we had a fabulous time. Now Sylvia understands who the character is, she is even more excited to have these wonder Moana of Oceania and friends figures.
The figure set has one Disney Moana figure. Maui the Demigod, Hei Hei the rooster and Pua the pig. I think these Disney character figures are really good quality and fantastic to play with and over the last few days Sylvia has been reenacting the scenes which she enjoyed and remember from the movie.
This particular set from Hasbro is really lovely. It includes a removable outfit and necklace, a fish hook and oar. I am really pleased that Disney have finally released a movie which represents a unique culture and that of my daughter’s.
Most of Sylvia’s dolls and toys have been white up until now with the exception of Mulan and Pocahontas and I’ve always thought about the possibility of Sylvia playing with Polynesian dolls and figures. Now with the fantastic range from Hasbro and the release of Disney’s Moana this thought can be a reality.
The toys are really great quality and retail around £36.99. This product is recommended for children aged 3 and over due to the small accessories included. The Disney Moana figures are certainly something my daughter is loving and something I can picture her playing with a lot in the coming months.

These figures are brilliant, I am glad to see they look like their animated counterparts x
Yes I think Hasbro have done a great job with the characters.
I do think it’s lovely that Disney princesses are representing more than just white girls these days! Plus Pua the Pig is super cute <3
I agree. I think it’s important for many cultures to be represented. I love the stories of Mulan and Pocahontas too!
Sylvia even looks like Moana! I am so pleased that they have brought out a doll that has cultural resonance and is not another ‘white princess’. It is important to have characters from all backgrounds!
Agreed. I am a fan of Disney and think they are doing a fantastic job.
aaaw your daughter really looks like the doll but prettier 🙂 I think those are great toys and the quality looks very good too x
Oh thanks. They are great. I’m sure they will last a good time.
I’ve never heard of this one! Must be a brand new one?? I do love Disney though, I used to love watching all the films growing up xo
Oh yes Moana is still really new. They have done a great job as well with this film!
This is fantastic! What I love about Moana is that she doesn’t have an impossible waist size like many of the other princesses. We love you, Disney, but we also like realistic standards!
Agreed. Realistic is always best.
The set looks fabulous, a really lovely toy, and I hear great things about the film too.
Thanks lovely. I have not yet heard anything negative.
Moana is such a positive character, it’s great to see more diversity coming out of Disney!
I agree. I am loving this!
