Vampire Lollipops Halloween Treats Kids Will Love.
Handing out lollies, sweets, and candy during Halloween is always a fun thing for me. In fact, last year I recall purchasing a bucket of sweets to hand out and being shocked when no children arrived for trick or treat. We had recently moved and it was our first Halloween in our new home.
This year I am positive we will get more visitors as the kids on the street now know us and I'm looking forward to seeing all the children in their Halloween costumes.
Today we have this super cute and fun Halloween Vampire Lollipop idea which will make a great gift for the children this Halloween season.

🌈 Substitutions and Variations
- Fabric flair: No red fabric? Use black or purple for a unique vampire vibe.
- Eye alternatives: Skip the googly eyes and draw eyes with a black marker for a minimalist look.
- Cape creativity: Instead of craft foam, use felt or construction paper for the cape.
🔪 How To Make Halloween Lollipops Vampire-Style
- Step 1: Cut a square of red fabric, and wrap it over top of the head of the lollipop. Secure the red fabric around the top of the lollipop by tying a piece of black string tightly at the base.
- Step 2: Cut a rectangle about the length of the lollipop stick out of the black craft foam.
- Step 3: Wrap the black rectangle around the back of the lollipop, and secure it closed with a piece of black ribbon. This will serve as the cape for your vampire lollipop.
- Step 4: Fold back the edges of the top and bottom of the rectangle to help the black craft foam take on more of a cape-like appearance.
- Step 5: Cut two small triangles out of the white craft foam. These will be fangs for your vampire.
- Step 6: Glue two googly eyes to the front of the lollipop. Glue the two small fangs below the eyes.
- Step 7: Cut out the printable Halloween gift tags, and punch a hole in one corner. Attach the gift tag around the base of the lollipop head with a piece of black string.
- Step 8: Repeat steps 1-10 with the remaining lollipops. Your Vampire lollipops are ready to serve at the Halloween party!
This is such a fun idea and the kids will love this awesome Vampire craft.

👩🍳 Expert Tips
- Choose Sturdy Lollipops: Opt for lollipops with a solid, spherical shape to provide a stable base for decorating and to ensure they hold up during handling.
- Secure Fabric Tightly: When wrapping the red fabric around the lollipop, tie it snugly at the base to prevent slipping and maintain the vampire's cloak appearance.
- Personalize with Creative Details: Encourage kids to add unique touches like glittery fangs or tiny bows to give each vampire its own personality.
💭 FAQs
Store the assembled vampire lollipops in an airtight container at room temperature. To maintain their appearance and freshness, keep them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Yes, you can use various fabrics for the cape, such as felt or satin. Choose materials that are easy to cut and manipulate, and that hold their shape well to resemble a vampire's cape.
If googly eyes are unavailable, you can create eyes using small circles cut from white and black paper or draw them directly onto the fabric with a permanent marker.
If a hot glue gun isn't accessible, strong double-sided tape or fabric glue can be used to attach the decorations. Ensure the adhesive is suitable for the materials you're working with to keep the components securely in place.
