Vampire Lollipops Halloween Treats
This is a tutorial on how to make a vampire lollipops.
Equipment
- Scissors
- Low Temperature Hot Glue Gun
Ingredients
- Red Fabric
- Black Craft Foam
- White Craft Foam
- Googly Eyes
- Black Ribbon
- String
- Lollipops
- Halloween Printable Gift Tag
Instructions
- Cut a square of red fabric, and wrap it over top of the head of the lollipop.
- Secure the red fabric around the top of the lollipop by tying a piece of black string tightly at the base.
- Cut a rectangle about the length of the lollipop stick out of the black craft foam.
- Wrap the black rectangle around the back of the lollipop, and secure it closed with a piece of black ribbon. This will serve as the cape for your vampire lollipop.
- Fold back the edges of the top and bottom of the rectangle to help the black craft foam take on more of a cape-like appearance.
- Glue two googly eyes to the front of the lollipop.
- Cut two small triangles out of the white craft foam. These will be fangs for your vampire.
- Glue the two small fangs onto the front of the lollipop below the eyes.
- Cut out the printable Halloween gift tags, and punch a hole in one corner
- Attach the gift tag around the base of the lollipop head with a piece of black string.
- Repeat steps 1-10 with the remaining lollipops.
Notes
- Choose Sturdy Lollipops: Opt for lollipops with a solid, spherical shape to provide a stable base for decorating and to ensure they hold up during handling.
- Secure Fabric Tightly: When wrapping the red fabric around the lollipop, tie it snugly at the base to prevent slipping and maintain the vampire's cloak appearance.
- Personalize with Creative Details: Encourage kids to add unique touches like glittery fangs or tiny bows to give each vampire its own personality.
