Today I am sharing a fun and fantastic cookie recipe. We have Unicorn cookies to feed your inner unicorn. I love these cookies and the different colours used to make them.
I think this is a fun bake for the home, for both adults or kids and can be made at any time. You may want to make them for an Unicorn party or simply for the family. They would also be a great baking activity in the classroom. Enjoy!
Ingredients for Unicorn Cookies
- 1 box of Pillsbury™ Funfetti® cake mix (18.25 oz)
- 1 box cook & serve vanilla pudding
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- Wilton Gel Food Colors
- Sprinkles
- Vanilla frosting
How to Make These Unicorn Cookies
Preheat oven to 350º Combine dry ingredients in large bowl and mix well.
Add eggs and oil and mix well until dough is sticky. Separate dough into four equal bowls.
Add 3-4 drops of food colouring into three of the four bowls. Chill dough until set (about 30 minutes).
Form dough into one inch tall oval balls.
Bake on baking sheet lined with parchment paper for 10 minutes, let cool completely serving.
You should have around 16 colourful cookies to play with.
When cool, use a piping bag to add frosting to one cookie, then press another cookie on top.
Roll the edges of the cookie in sprinkles.
