Easter Chick Yarn Art Project
Easter will be here shortly and today we have a fantastic Easter Chick Yarn project which is fun, simple and easy to make with the kids. I really enjoy Easter, It’s my second favourite holiday season after Christmas and we always get two weeks as a family to be together. I am looking forward to the Easter holidays and doing lots of crafty things with my daughter. I hope you enjoy this craft idea.

2 Small Pieces Cardboard
1 Small Piece Orange Paper
2 Small Yellow Feathers
Creativity Street Wiggle Eyes Assorted Sizes, Black, 100-Piece (CKC344602)Lily Sugar ‘N Cream Super Size Solid Yarn – (4) Medium Gauge 100% Cotton – 4 oz – Hot Orange – Machine Wash & DryElmer’s All Purpose School Glue Sticks, Clear, Washable, 4 Pack, 0.24-ounce sticks
Let’s Make It
First, cut out an egg shape and a carrot shape from the cardboard. I made mine about 6-inchs long, but you can make any size. Make sure to leave a little carrot top on that cutout so you can wrap green around it.
Rub a couple swipes of glue on one side of the cardboard pieces. Take the yellow yarn and stick the starting end to the glue and start wrapping it around the cardboard. You can go all different directions, just make sure to keep the yarn tight as you wrap it around. Once you are done, tuck the end under a few wrapped pieces so it stays put.
Repeat step 3 using the carrot cutout. Use the orange yarn for the carrot part and the green yarn to wrap around the carrot top.
You now have a cute little Easter chick and an Easter bunny carrot!
