Ingredients For Creamy Instant Pot Pork Chops
1 medium onion
4 boneless pork chops
salt and pepper to taste
2 beef or vegetable stock cubes
1 cup of hot water
1 teaspoon of Worchestershire sauce
1/3 cup sour cream
Mashed root veg or cauliflower rice (Keto option)
Green vegetable of your choice
How To Cook Creamy Instant Pot Pork Chops
Begin by browning the pork chops on sauté mode.
Chop and add the onions and cook until soft.
Mix one cup of water with the beef or vegetable stock.
Add the Worcestershire sauce and pour the mixture over the pork chops and onions.
Add a trivet to your pot and pop in any vegetables you wish to eat with your meals. Broccoli and other green vegetables are a great option if your making Keto Pork chops.
Pressure cook for 8 minutes. Once the food is cooked, natural release for 5 minutes and then let the remaining pressure out.
Remove the chops from the pot while you create your creamy sauce.
If you wish to thicken your sauce you can add a teaspoon of cornflour. Alternatively as a Keto option you can reduce the liquid using a strainer. For this recipe I added 1 teaspoon of cornflour.
