Cricut Easy Press Mini Review Dog Bandanna
Last week Cricut released the Cricut EasyPress Mini Zen Blue. The Cricut Mini EasyPress is a smaller version of the popular Cricut EasyPress, designed specifically for small and intricate heat transfer projects. And as a dog owner and avid crafter, I couldn’t wait to try it out on a project: making a personalized bandanna for my furry friend Kokomo.

Making A Personalized Bandanna For Pets
I started by designing and cutting out my dog’s name using heat transfer vinyl. I cut my dog’s name using the cricut cutting machine. Then, I preheated the EasyPress Mini to the recommended temperature for my chosen material (in this case, cotton).
The device heated up quickly and had three heat settings. I went with the highest temperature option for my heat transfer project.
Heating The EasyPress Mini
Heating the Cricut EasyPress Mini was super simple, you simply press the power button and select the temperature you want. The EasyPress Mini heated up super fast compared to a regular iron which I’ve used in the past for small projects.
Once the EasyPress Mini was heated, I placed it on top of my design and pressed down for around 90 seconds. The precision tip made it easy to control where the heat was applied, ensuring that all parts of the design were evenly heated.
After pressing, I let the vinyl cool for a few seconds before carefully peeling off the backing sheet. And to my delight, the vinyl was perfectly adhered to the bandanna, with no lifting or wrinkling.
