I love that the Vax Platinum Power Max Carpet Cleaner comes with a pretreatment wand, which means I can get a head start on cleaning my carpets. If I have a stubborn set-in stain, the pretreatment wand works wonders. We tested it out and it really worked well especially on the stains at the top of my stairs.
Quick Dry – The Way to Be!
Having pets and a busy family means we use all the rooms in the home regular. Therefore having quick drying carpets is really useful for our family. The Vax Platinum Power Max has a wash and rinse mode!
After you are done carpet cleaning, the Dual V technology will remove any shampoo residue or water left. This means your carpets will be dry in no time, sometimes in less than an hour! I love this option and it means we won’t have to spend the day walking around on a wet carpet.
Double the Clean

The Vax Platinum Power Max Carpet Cleaner has a lot of power. We really enjoyed testing it out in our lounge, on the stairs and in the bedroom. The cleaner gets into the carpet, gets it clean, and then gets it as dry as possible. I was really impressed with how clean the carpets looked and how fresh they now smell!
Sometimes Sylvia loves to paint and may accidentally get a splash of paint here or there, I know I can get those stains up now, so I’m not too worried about her practicing her passion. Let’s be honest, all of us are guilty of making stains, it’s not just the kids! I truly felt like the Vax Platinum Power Max Carpet Cleaner helped to make my carpets fresh and clean again and I am really impressed!

Yes it sure does. We used the upholstery part on our sofa to remove stains!
the fact it drys so fast is impressive. how heavy is it to push? i would be interested if it wasn’t too painful to push.

It’s not really that heavy. I tried and it was fine for me and I have physical difficulties. You do have to hold the trigger on the handle each time you pull the machine backwards but that is not heavy and it’s easy to use.
