Comparing Utah rental companies can be overwhelming fast once you start calling around. Everyone says they deliver and set up, and most of the websites use the same handful of stock photos of white folding chairs.
What actually separates one company from another comes down to how much of the job they handle themselves, how well they know a specific type of venue, and how they price out an order that doesn't fit neatly into a package.
Here's a look at some of the top event rental companies in Utah, where each one stands out, and why Mountain Event Rentals is built to handle more of the details for you.

1. Mountain Event Rentals: Best for Full-Service Weddings, Corporate Events, and Cultural Hall Transformations
Mountain Event Rentals handles the full rental experience for weddings, corporate events, and community celebrations across Weber, Salt Lake, and Utah counties.
They've been serving Utah since 2014. Every full-service order includes delivery, setup, and pickup, so nobody on your end has to arrange tables or hang lighting the morning of the event.
Cultural hall receptions are an area where the company shines. A lot of rental outfits will drop off chairs and call it done, leaving the couple to figure out how to make a gym feel like a reception space.
Mountain Event Rentals treats the hall itself as the starting point, working out drape placement, lighting angles, and furniture layout ahead of time so the transformation holds together instead of looking like decorations scattered around a basketball court.
Pricing works a little differently too. While they have a few fixed packages, the company runs mostly on a wishlist system.
You build out roughly what you want online, submit it, and get a real quote back with room to adjust before anything's final.
That flexibility is helpful since guest counts and layouts tend to shift right up until the event, and not every rental company is set up to handle changes gracefully once an order's already placed.
With over a decade of experience in Utah events, Mountain Event Rentals tends to be the company people land on once they've compared a few options and realized how much setup, delivery, and local know-how matter on the day of.
2. All City Event Rentals
All City Event Rentals, based in downtown Salt Lake City, stocks a solid inventory of chairs, tables, tents, lighting, and more for weddings, corporate events, and private parties across Salt Lake City, Park City, and the Wasatch Front.
It's a fine option if inventory size is your main concern. Setup service and cultural hall experience aren't the company's focus, so ask directly about those if they matter for your event.
3. Bee Ready Rentals
Bee Ready Rentals is a newer company, started in 2022, built around fast, fully online booking for tables, chairs, tents, and linens across Salt Lake and Davis counties.
It's convenient if you already know exactly what you need and want to book without a phone call.
Full setup is an add-on rather than standard, and the company has less track record than some of the more established names in this space.
4. Sunny Side Party Rentals
Sunny Side Party Rentals, based in Sandy, provides tables, chairs, tents, concessions, movie equipment, and more for family events and parties throughout Salt Lake County.
It's a reasonable choice for a casual gathering, though the catalog leans more toward basic party equipment than wedding-specific decor or design help.
5. CLM Event Rentals
CLM Event Rentals, established in 2022, specializes in curated rentals for meaningful celebrations, featuring farmhouse tables, cross-back chairs, and refined details that set the scene.
They primarily serve the Salt Lake Valley and only provide custom quotes rather than packages, so it can be hard to get a sense of cost without reaching out about your event.
If you need a bigger statewide inventory beyond what's listed here, Diamond Event & Tent is another established Utah option worth a look.
For vintage-style wedding furniture specifically, a few boutique shops in American Fork like Utah Vintage Rentals specialize in exactly that.
How Far Ahead Should You Book Event Equipment?
Timing often changes your available options. Utah's peak wedding and event months,
May, June, September, and October, are when the best tent sizes, specific chair styles, and popular linen colors get reserved first.
Booking eight to ten months out gives you the widest selection. Four to six months out, standard inventory is usually still available, but specialty items start to thin out.
This is where company size also comes into play. A larger operation with a deeper inventory can usually absorb a later booking better than a smaller, boutique-style company with a narrower catalog.
If your date falls inside three months, it's worth calling directly rather than assuming availability from a website, since Utah's rental companies tend to fill up fast for weekend dates during peak season.
