Harbour Hounds Drying Robe for Dogs
Earlier this year, our beautiful Bichon Casper passed over rainbow bridge. Casper was a loyal and loving companion, always happy and wagging his tail. I missed having Casper to keep me company and so we decided to get a new pet – Alfie.
Alfie is a lovely Dog. He is now 5 months old and is full of energy and love. Our new Bichon Frise loves playing in the garden, digging in the mud, and playing with his toys. In fact, he has a talent for getting covered in mud. Luckily, his breeder trained him well and he’s very good when getting bathed and groomed.
As you can imagine, I was only more than happy to review a new dog-drying robe from Harbour Hounds, along with a tick repelling dog necklace.

For this review, I will be focusing on the dog drying robe and the tick repelling dog necklace. You can find these at the Harbour Hounds Online Store.
The Harbour Hounds Dog Drying Robe
The first product I want to talk about is the Harbour Hounds Dog Drying Robe. This is a beautiful, thick and fluffy robe which is perfect for drying your wet dog.
The robe is made from 100% cotton, making it super absorbent. It’s also machine washable, so you can easily keep it clean.
The robe has a turtle neck hood, which is great for keeping your dog’s head warm and your neck dry. The robe has stud fastenings which are much better than the velcro ones we have had in the past.
I love that the Harbour Hounds dog drying robe has no awkward leg straps. It’s non-restrictive and easy to put on a Dog. Alfie was comfortable in his robe and it has a hole for the tail to ensure complete coverage.
The Harbour Hounds Dog Drying Robe is available in 8 sizes: We got the xxs size and it’s a little big on Alfie meaning there is plenty of growing room for him.
The Harbour Hounds Dog Drying Robe is priced at £29.99, which I think is reasonable for a good quality, absorbent and stylish robe.
I am excited to use the towel at home but also when we take Alfie to the beach or on muddy walks. It’s great having a separate towel for our Dog which is only for him and doesn’t get mixed up with our towels.
Harbour Hounds have several different patterns and designs and they are all so cute. I think we might have to invest in one or two more when Alfie is older.
The Tick Repelling Dog Necklace
The second product I want to talk about is the Tick Repelling Dog Necklace. This is a great product for dogs who live in areas with ticks.
We were sent the classic Sweet Orange Necklace that has a navy cord tie and matches the Orange Dog Drying Robe. The necklace has EM (Effective microorganism) ceramic beads which help to repel ticks, fleas and other insects.
The necklace is adjustable, so you can make it the perfect fit for your Dog. It’s also lightweight and comfortable for your Dog to wear. When I placed the necklace on Alfie, he seemed very comfortable and didn’t attempt to scratch at or remove it, as he sometimes does with a collar.
The Tick Repelling Dog Necklace is available in five sizes and can dry naturally if it gets wet. The dog necklace costs £14.99 and is available in five colours: blue, green, pink, orange and classic (navy).
I think the Tick Repelling Dog Necklace is a great product for dogs who live in areas with ticks. It’s a natural, safe and effective way to help prevent your Dog from getting bitten by ticks.
I will be using the Tick Repelling Dog Necklace when we take Alfie for walks in the woods or fields and I would recommend it to other dog owners.
