DIY Glitter Slime Recipe

Beauty and the Beast happen to be one of my favourite Disney movies and today we are sharing an easy glitter slime recipe which is perfect for acting out the scenes using Belle and the Beast characters.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched Beauty and the Beast, but I’m probably just as excited about this slime as the kiddos are.

Beauty and the Beast Glitter Slime
The glitter in this glitter slime recipe is gold and is the perfect colour to match with Belle’s Dress in the scene where she dances with the Beast at the end of the Disney movie.
You might want to watch the animated movie or you may opt to watch the acting version of Beauty and the Beast followed by a fun DIY slime session.
In fact, it’s a great way to combine the love of the movie with the interactive play of the slime! You can even make it before the movie starts so that everyone can play with it while it’s on the screen.
This could also be a great idea for a Disney themed party or you could alter the colour and ingredients of the slime to make slime recipes based on different Disney movies.
You could make red glitter slime for The Little Mermaid or maybe even purple glitter slime. Either, way this basic slime recipe is sure to be useful.
Ingredients For This Slime Recipe
- 1/2 cup Elmer’s Washable Clear Glue
- 1 tablespoon Saline Solution (must contain boric acid and sodium borate)
- 1/2 cup of Water
- 3/4 tsp Baking Soda
- Gold Glitter
- Rose Beads
How to Make Glitter Slime
Add your glue and saline solution to a medium to a large mixing bowl.
Add in the water and mix in baking soda and mix well, stirring fast.
Then add in glitter.
Continue to add in 1/4 teaspoon Saline solution until no longer sticky.

This slime recipe is so simple to make, that you can literally make it within a matter of mere moments!
Homemade slime has never been so simple! Plus, the added glitter gives it a fun twist as well!
Store in an airtight container for future use.
