As many of my readers know, I have a great love for dogs, especially Bichon Frise dogs and today I wanted to introduce you to 50 fabulous Bichon Dogs. So here is my blog post for the day.

The Bichon Frise dog originates from Spain. Bichons were once companions to Spanish sailors and were then adopted by the french aristocracy.

Today there are Bichon’s all around the world and my family are blessed to have two Bichon’s Yoda and Casper.

A big thank you to all the lovely Bichon Owners who sent me these photos to use her on the blog. I appreciate it very much.

Oh thanks they are cute. i think the hardest thing is travelling with a dog. it limits where you can go or stay or what you can do so you either need a good dog sitter or kennels but i prefer a dog sitter to kennels and being a travel blogger it could be very tricky!

Hi Angela, our first dog was a Bichon Frise and she was friendly and naughty too. All Bichon Frise seem to have nice natures, I would happily take on another one if we had the chance. I love the picture of Teddy with the beetroot… I wonder who did do it?

The downside of owning a Bichon frise is their colouring, they don’t stay clean for long. Or was that just ours?

Hello! Everyone my name is Latasha An I’m having some issues dealing depression. I’m type diabetic and started having seizures. I’ve always a Bichon. But when I brought one for my daughter. Because she was always saying she was finding it hard to make friends.

So to help her deal with what she was going through. We got a Bichon for her, she was happy to have her. All was bright until her puppy got hit by her school bus. Puff ran behind her. And my daughter saw it all. She was so depressed that I spent part of our savings to get her another one.

Which was named Bell. But we didn’t realize how much it really had an affect on her losing the Puff the first Bichon. Bell could not go outside without her. One time I brought her outside. My daughter ran down the stairs so fast that she almost broke her leg falling.

So I had gotten sick. And Bell became my best friend. She would go to the stores with me. In fact she went everywhere with me. She became very special to me. Because I had my first seizure. Bell alerted my daughter that I was having it.

I was very sad to see her and my daughter to college in CO. I didn’t know I was gonna miss Bell so much. Since the Covi-19 I don’t go anywhere, but doctors appointments really. So I’m home most of the time by myself. The prices for Bichons have gone up to thousands for them. When I brought Bell 4 yrs ago. It cost only $700.00 to by one.

So only husband works and I can’t for awhile. I had asked him could we purchase one? At this time he said it would be hard to. I love Bichon’s they are so very smart. They learn things without you ever teaching them. Does anyone know how I could get one? It became apparent I needed a comfort dog and have it train it to get help in case I need help

It’s so awesome to have this breed of dogs. They almost human like . When you talk to them and call their name. I love to see the photos of everyone’s dogs . And to read all the stories as well. Thank you all for sharing stories. You never know how much it means to people.
Especially now that we have to do social distends. Until next time and once again thank you for sharing pictures and stories about your Bichons.
