DIY Alien Sugar Scrub Directions

Chop up the shea butter and prepare the ingredients.

Chop Shea Butter

Add the shea butter and coconut oil to a microwave safe bowl and microwave on high for 30 seconds or until the soap is completely melted. Remove from the microwave and quickly stir to combine.

Add 4 to 5 drops of your favorite soap scent (I used apple) and 2-3 drops of green soap colorant.

Add your scent

Stir quickly to distribute the color as the shea butter hardens rather quickly.

Stir color and Shea Butter

Pour in the granulated sugar and mix well to incorporate.

Add Sugar

Mix well until you have a solid mixture.

Transfer the sugar mixture into the mini muffin molds and press down firmly, filling each mold upto the top.

Transfer to Muffin Pan

Press 3 candy eyes down into the sugar mixture of each mold to resemble the face of a Toy Story alien.

Add Candy Eyes

Place the silicone mold into the freezer for one hour.

How to Use Sugar Scrub Bars

1.   Bring 1-2 alien sugar scrub cubes to your bath or shower.

2.   Rub the cubes all over your wet skin.  The granulated sugar will exfoliate and the coconut oil and shea butter will soften and moisturize your skin.

3.  Relax and enjoy the sweet aroma of apples!
