DIY Alien Sugar Scrub From Toy Story
Toy Story was such a cute movie, and I just fell in love with the cute little aliens and if you are looking for ways to stick with a Toy Story theme, these DIY Alien Sugar Scrub cubes are great as party favors, gifts, and to throw in the pool!
Supplies for DIY Alien Sugar Scrub
- 12 count silicone mini muffin pan
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup shea butter soap or 3 cubes
- 1/2 cup coconut oil
- Soap scent (I used Soap Expressions apple)
- Green soap colorant
- Wilton candy eyes
DIY Alien Sugar Scrub Directions
Chop up the shea butter and prepare the ingredients.
Add the shea butter and coconut oil to a microwave safe bowl and microwave on high for 30 seconds or until the soap is completely melted. Remove from the microwave and quickly stir to combine.
Add 4 to 5 drops of your favorite soap scent (I used apple) and 2-3 drops of green soap colorant.
Stir quickly to distribute the color as the shea butter hardens rather quickly.
Pour in the granulated sugar and mix well to incorporate.
Mix well until you have a solid mixture.
Transfer the sugar mixture into the mini muffin molds and press down firmly, filling each mold upto the top.
Press 3 candy eyes down into the sugar mixture of each mold to resemble the face of a Toy Story alien.
Place the silicone mold into the freezer for one hour.
Remove from freezer and gently pop out the alien sugar scrub cubes.
Store in an airtight container until you are ready to use these fantastic Toy story sugar scrubs.
