Tasty Summer Broccoli Salad Recipe

The Nutrition Found In Broccoli
Broccoli is a great vegetable to eat. With no fat or cholesterol in Broccoli, this veg does have lots of potassium, dietary fibre and protein. Broccoli is also filled with vitamins and minerals such as Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Calcium, Iron, Vit D, B-12, B-6 and Magnesium.
This is a tasty salad with healthy yogurt, fruit and a dash of honey. I’m sure you will enjoy making this recipe. Enjoy
What You Will Need to Make Broccoli Salad
Let’s Make The Broccoli Salad
- 1 head of broccoli
- 1 apple
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1/4 cup pecans or walnuts
- 1/2 cup plain greek yoghurt
- 2 Tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 Tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 Tablespoon honey
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Combine the greek yogurt, mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey and salt and pepper. Adjust to taste and set aside.
Chop the broccoli and apple into bite-sized pieces.
Toss with the raisins and pecans and then add 2-3 Tablespoons of the dressing. Add more dressing as desired.
This salad is great right away and the flavours just intensify if left in the fridge for a couple hours.
