Who doesn’t love a fresh, homemade guacamole? This easy recipe is perfect for when you want something creamy, flavorful, and packed with all the classic Mexican flavors. Whether you’re hosting a party, having taco night, or just craving a healthy snack, this guacamole is a crowd-pleaser that comes together in minutes. Grab some ripe avocados and let’s get started!
Cut the avocados in half lengthwise, and remove and discard the skin and pit.
Put the avocado flesh in a bowl, and set aside.
Slightly mash the avocado with a fork or a potato masher until smooth.
Chop Your Veggies: Dice your tomatoes, and set aside.
Dice your red onion, set aside.
Chop the jalapeno, and set it aside.
Chop the cilantro, and set aside.
Cut the lime in half, and set aside.
Add the Other Ingredients: Add the diced tomatoes, diced red onion, chopped jalapeno, chopped cilantro, and fresh lime juice, and season with salt and pepper.
Mix until well combined.
Serve in a Medium Bowl with Tortilla Chips: Serve the homemade guacamole with tortilla chips

An authentic guacamole recipe also calls for the use of fresh garlic. If you want to, you can add some minced garlic into the mix as well.
I have used red onion for this recipe, but you can also consider using white onion if that's what you have at hand.
While you can use any kind of diced tomato for this recipe, I would recommend using juicy Roma tomatoes, because they really add so much flavor and deliciousness to the homemade guacamole dip.
Apart from the onion cilantro and tomato, you can also add a bit of olive oil into the mix while making guacamole. This can really elevate the flavors of the remaining ingredients and make the guacamole healthy than it already is.
