Paper Cup Flower Craft Kids Will Love
Paper Cup Flower Craft is a delightful upcycled activity where kids transform paper cups into colorful, layered flowers using cupcake liners, buttons, and popsicle stick stems.

Materials
- Paper Cups
- Cupcake Liners
- Popsicle Sticks
- Green Paint
- Buttons
- Glue
- Scissors
Instructions
- Paint popsicle sticks green and allows them to dry completely. Set them aside.
- Cut the rim off the top of the paper cup. Cut the cup down to the bottom 7 or 8 times. Carefully spread the cut strips out. Be gentle so that you do not tear the strips from the bottom of the cup.
- Trim the end of each strip so that it’s narrower than the bottom of the strip.
- Fold over the strips and glue them onto the bottom. This will create a sort of loop.
- Repeat with all your cups.
- Flatten out a large cupcake liner and glue to the back of the paper cup flower.
- Flatten out a few large cupcake layers and fold in half, then fold one more time.
- Cut out a petal shape. Glue the cupcake liners on top of the paper cup flower.
- Repeat the steps above but with mini cupcake liners. Keep adding cupcake liner layers until you’re satisfied.
- Glue brightly colored buttons into the center of the flower.
- Glue a popsicle Stick onto the back of the flower.
- Cut the rim and bottom off of a green paper cup. Cut leaves from the green paper cup and glue onto the popsicle stick.
