Enjoy all the flavors of an egg roll without the carbs with this Low Carb Egg Roll in a Bowl! Packed with seasoned ground meat, sautéed cabbage, and a savory sauce, this dish is a quick and healthy one-pan meal. It’s a perfect, guilt-free way to enjoy a takeout favorite!
Heat a cast iron skillet on medium-high heat until the skillet is hot.
Pour sesame oil in the skillet and add 1 lb Turkey mince and mix. Break up the sausage into small granules and stir.
Cook the turkey until brown. Remove the skillet from the range, and drain any fat.
Return drained turkey mince and skillet to range and resume heat at medium heat.
Add ginger, garlic powder and soy sauce to your turkey mixture. Stir to combine.
Add coleslaw mix to the skillet and stir well until evenly distributed throughout.
Stir and simmer the egg roll mixture until tender.
Stir in green onions and extra soya sauce to your egg roll mixture. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
Spoon your egg roll into a bowl, garnish with chopped onion and toasted sesame seeds and enjoy!
