Start your morning off right with this Instant Pot Oatmeal with Apple and Cinnamon! It’s a cozy, comforting breakfast loaded with warm cinnamon spice and tender, sweet apples. Made quickly in the Instant Pot, this hearty oatmeal is perfect for busy mornings when you want something nutritious and delicious without the hassle!
2Applesany type, peeled and chopped into 1-inch cubes
2 tablespoonButter
6tablespoonBrown Sugar
1TeaspoonSalt
2CupsOats
3 ½CupsWater
Instructions
Turn your Instant Pot to Sauté mode. Once the pot is hot, add in your butter and apples.
Sauté the apples or about 3 minutes, or until the apples are softened.
Press cancel on your Instant Pot. Add in your remaining ingredients, the sugar, cinnamon, salt, oats and water.
Close your Instant Pot lid and close the sealing valve.
Set your Instant Pot to High Pressure (or use the Porridge button if available) for 1 minute.
Once the time is done, do a quick release.
Stir your porridge and enjoy! Garnish with a more cinnamon if desired
