Instructions
Place the steamer basket into the Instant Pot.
Pour in one and a half cups of water into the Instant Pot.
Place peeled and quartered carrots into the steamer basket.
Put the lid on the Instant Pot and place the valve in a sealed position.
Press the pressure cook button and set the timer to 6 minutes for firmer carrots or 8 minutes for really tender carrots.
Once the cooking time has ended and the pot stops counting, release the pressure.
Remove the carrots to a bowl. Then, remove steamer basket and drain the water from the Instant Pot.
Turn on sauté mode. Add in butter, garlic, and dill.
Place carrots back in garlic butter mixture into the pot.
Sauté the carrots for about two minutes.
Turn off the pot. Serve your Instant Pot Garlic Carrots in a serving bowl, garnished with an extra sprinkle of fresh dill or other fresh herbs.
