Begin by measuring out the ground spices using tablespoons and/or teaspoons.
Measure the four spices and add them into a small bowl. The ginger and nutmeg should be in equal amounts, while allspice is in less proportion and the largest proportion of spice is cinnamon.
Combine the spices together with a fork or small whisk until evenly mixed.
Store the homemade pumpkin pie spice blend in an airtight container for up to 6 months.
To use, add 1-2 teaspoons of the mix into your dessert recipe or beverage as desired. Enjoy the warm, cozy flavor of pumpkin spice in all your fall treats, and store the rest of your batch of spice in a jar or container.
