Materials

  • Printer
  • Colored Card Stock
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Black Pen

Instructions

  • Start by downloading and printing out our free bat template. You can print the template onto white cardstock or construction paper ready to trace.
  • Trace the template pieces onto colored cardstock. We made a purple bat but you can choose whatever color bat you please.
  • Cut out the bat template pieces.
  • To make the bat's body, start by gluing the torso and bat wings, followed by the bat head and bat ears.
  • Next add the bat's facial features, the eyes, nose, and mouth etc. Your bat is now complete! Hang it up as a spooky decoration or use it as a fun party favor.
