Cut paper into strips. Strips should be about ½ – ¾ of an inch wide. You'll need about ten strips total.
Using your glue stick, apply glue to a strip of paper about ½ an inch from the bottom of the strip.
Using your scissors, (regular or fun shaped scissors) cut out a circle that is about 1 ½ inches wide.
Fold other ends of the strip over (without pressing it flat) to create a loop and press the end of the paper strip directly to the glue leaving a ½ inch “flap” at the bottom of your loop. Repeat until you have about 10 loops.
This circle will be the middle of your flower. Next, apply glue to the “flap” of your loop and press it to your circle.
Repeat all the way around your circle. Once your flower has all of its petals, you're ready to attach your stem (pipe cleaner)!
Place your pipe cleaner on the side of your flower where you glued your loops.
Using clear, scotch tape, attach your pipe cleaner. TA-DA! You've made your very first flower! You can mix and match your petal colours or choose a solid colour. Create one or as many as you'd like and put together a beautiful bouquet!
