Bloody Mary Deviled Eggs are a zesty twist on classic deviled eggs, mixing in Bloody Mary seasoning, avocado, and jalapeño for a spicy, flavorful bite.
Fill a pan with water and turn the heat to high. Once the water is boiling, add your eggs and cook for about twelve minutes for hard-boiled eggs.
While your eggs are cooking on the stove, fill a large bowl with ice and water and have it sitting getting nice and cold.
After twelve minutes of boiling, remove the eggs from the hot water and place them in the cold water bath. Allow them to set for a few minutes.
Once peeled, start cutting the eggs in half and placing the cooked yolk in a separate bowl. Once all are separated, set the halved whites aside for later.
Grab your bowl with the cooked egg yolks and add in half of your ripened avocado. Take a fork and mash until it’s smooth and creamy.
Start adding in your bloody mary seasoning mix at this point. We added about 2 ½ teaspoons, but taste-test it after each teaspoon to see your preference. Add a pinch of salt if needed and stir.
After mixing, fill the hollowed-out egg whites with a spoon or use a pastry bag to pour the mixture.
Top with a fresh jalapeno pepper or a sprinkle of cumin. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
Fresh Eggs: Ensure your eggs are fresh but not too new; eggs a week old peel more easily after boiling, giving your deviled eggs a smoother appearance.Spicy Swirl: Add a dash of hot sauce and a sprinkle of cayenne pepper to the filling for eggs that pack a punch, echoing the spicy kick of a classic Bloody Mary.
