Wobbleez Dog A Great Way To Encourage Interest Based Play

Not long ago Sylvia was sent the cutest Wobbleez Dog from Smyths Toys. As you may know my daughter loves Dogs. We have two Bichon Frise Dogs called Yoda and Casper and Sylvia loves anything Dog themed especially cute soft toys like the Wobbleez

The Wobbleez Dog is a new range and comes in three variations. There is a Shepherd Dog, the Golden Retriever and the Dalmation. The Wobbleez Dog’s  come with a leash. They have magical paws which begin to walk with your child as they are pulled along the floor and I’m sure the Wobbleez range would be a hit with any child.

We took Sylvia’s new furry buddy out with us a few weeks ago for an adventure with our Dogs. We took some fantastic photos of Sylvia and captured how happy she was with her new German Shepherd Woobleez.

I really like that the Wooblesz is cute and cuddly and the ability it has to glide along the floor is fantastic. The Wobbleez range can encourage an active and healthy lifestyle as they can get children wanting to go out and about with their pet dog.

It’s fun for a young child to be able to adopt a dog which is a soft toy. The responsibility of a real dog can be too much for a child. Some families may not be able to have a pet due to the home they live in, rental rules or not having a garden.

Having the opportunity to have your own Wobbleez dog is great way to encourage role play and help develop your child’s interest in Dogs and pets. The toy is soft and cuddly and great for walking and I am positive this would make a great gift for any child.

As a qualified earl years teacher I do see the value in interest based play and this range of dogs can certainly help encourage this type of play. I think these dogs would be great for a school nursery. I can just picture a pet corner or animal hospital. There are so many great things the children could do with these pets and I think they would be great or the home and nursery setting.

We love our Wobbleez Dog and know you will too.

  1. That sounds like a really cool toy. I love that the kids can walk them. It’s a great way to encourage some really creative play.

  2. I could see this unique toy teaching children how to treat real puppies/adult dogs if the family was planning on bringing them into the household.
Plus, they are so darn cute on their own – I love that they have the three variations.

  3. Such an adorable toy for kids! It’s definitely a great way to teach them more about being kind to animals especially if you’re planning to get a pet in the future.

  4. Lovely toy. We have an old dog but the kids would love a puppy. We bought a baby doll to prepare for our baby’s arrival, maybe this could prepare them for a pup!

  5. I think I need to get this Wobbleez dog for my grandson. He is so fond of animals (dogs and kittens especially). My poor dog gets so tired when my grandson is here with me. A toy dog that my grandson can hug, and take on a walk would be a good one to have to teach him how to care for a real pet.

  6. This is so darn adorable. We rent, so we cannot have dogs. Maybe my son would agree to this version instead of the live one!

  7. I love toys like this. I think they can help children use their imaginations and start to understand the responsibility of owning a pet.

  8. This toy is perfect for a family wanting to introduce a puppy into the family. The kids can have a “fee” of what it is like to care for a pet. I will recommend this to my friend at work. She is still unsure of how her pre-schooler would react to having a puppy in the house.
