I had no clue that stains and damage in my walls could be a sign of excess moisture seeing through via cracks and the like. I’m planning to turn our basement into a home theatre but the stains on it are quite worrying and I wasn’t sure if they would go away if I just painted over them. I’m glad that I found this article before I did since I would’ve just ended up having the same problem again down the line. I’ll be sure to hire a basement restoration service to fix the place up so I won’t have to worry about my walls getting any issues again and I can enjoy my basement set up in peace.
