Wentworth World Wonders Puzzle Review and Giveaway

Last week Sylvia was sent a fantastic Wooden Jigsaw puzzle from Wentworth Wooden Puzzles and both Sylvia and I were so impressed. We ordered the World Wonders puzzle which is brilliantly illustrated and high quality.

Wentworth Wooden Puzzles

The jigsaw pieces are nothing like what I’ve seen before. They are real wood, strong and not easy to break like the more traditional puzzles I am used to. I really think the quality is fabulous.

What makes these puzzle pieces unique are they are cut out in many fantastic shapes from helicopters and bears to a spoon, ball and bike. There is even one shaped as an burger. I think having Jigsaw pieces in different shapes made the puzzle even more fun.

Sylvia and I spent a god amount of time working on the puzzle together. Sylvia is eight and the puzzle was very tough but a good challenge and a good activity in the holidays while it was raining. We really enjoyed working on this puzzle together and it was a good chance to encourage and help build Sylvia’s confidence in achieving a tricky task.

I am really impressed with the Wentworth World Wonders puzzle. The illustrations are fabulous and so educational. There is a map of the world and many images representing the different parts of the world including animals that come from the different continents.

I like that the puzzle has a picture on the front of the box. That really helped when we got to the tricky parts.

I think this puzzle is fun and educational and was a great experience for Sylvia. We look forward to completing it again. I love that you keep the puzzles pieces in a lovely bag, it means if Sylvia accidently drops the box the pieces wont go everywhere as they are secure in a bag.

We were sent the puzzle for the purpose of this review. All opinions are my own.

  4. fond memories of making jigsaws with my gran when on holiday, then with my now grown up sons when they were little.

  5. i have always brought Wentworth Puzzles for my children. Purely because they are of such good quality and they have always had such ingenuitive designs which are always puzzling but enjoyable to piece together. Luckily the puzzle featured in this competition is one that i don’t already own which would be ideal if I were to win this competition.
