Wedding Anniversary Gifts

Wedding Anniversary Gifts

Monday was my 2 year Wedding Anniversary. July the 13th is such a special day for John and I. The actual Wedding Day was amazing. The weather was beautiful, the music, the decorations, the guests. It was absolutely perfect and I wouldn’t have ever wished for anything better. We even had a tiny minute tribute to star wars my husband’s favourite series. It was the best day ever!

Last year to celebrate our anniversary we went to the Brewers Fayre Resturaunt and had a lovely meal together. John bought me a set of brilliant felt tip pens from AsdaDirect and I got him some Star Wars Pyjamas.

This year we went to Frankie’s and Benny’s. We had some really nice food and our daughter came with us. It was lovely apart from the fact I felt really unwell, but I wanted to do something special to celebrate.

As for the gifts, this year I got the perfect gift from John. It is a wooden board, with a heart shaped blackboard. It has red and white polka dots on the outside. John chose this for me from PinkyRed.co.uk an online store which is full of fabulous gift ideas.

My gift is the perfect wedding anniversary gift. I really am a Polka dot fan. I own several items with polka dots on so it keeps in style with my liking and the love heart represents to me the love that we have for each other as husband and wife. I’m going to write little notes on my new board, but not everyday things such as chores or a shopping list, I’m going to write a list of things to do to show my husband I love him.

As for John’s anniversary gift, he is easily pleased. I bought him a new Star Wars top from AsdaDirect which he loved. So geeky but that’s what he loves. Heck even our dog is called Yoda!

So after two years of marriage I can honesty say it’s the best thing ever! I love being married to my sweetheart. He is my best friend and knows me so well. We are not a rich couple, we cant afford to go to paris or buy diamonds and gold, but you know what, I don’t actually think we’d enjoyed that as much as I enjoyed getting practical sentimental gifts and John enjoys receiving a useful “geeky” star wars gift!

So thank you AsdaDirect, thank you Frankie and Benny’s and thankyou PinkyRed for making our anniversary special for us this year!
