Unicorn Shapes Printable

Today on the blog we have a new fun learning printable. I wanted to create something different and so I came up with the idea of the Unicorn Shapes Printable Game. It’s super easy to make and can help children to develop basic shape recognition as well as developing literacy skills and fine motor skills for cutting.

So, you can download this awesome printable at the bottom of the page and it’s free.

All you need to do is print out the document. Have your child cut out the different shapes and then match them up to the correct Unicorn.

Your child can then cut out the names of the shapes and practice reading skills by matching the words to the correct unicorn.

It’s a simple and fun task and to make it last longer you may want to laminate the sheets and shapes.

Having fun educational activities and resources in the home is one sure way to help your child develop basic skills. As an early years teacher I know first hand that teaching through interest based play and fun learning activities is always better than sitting a child down and making them write or do maths in a more traditional sense. I hope you love this printable as much as I loved making it.
