Toby Carvery Aintree A Family Meal Out
Last week we had the opportunity to visit the Toby Carvery at Aintree in Liverpool. Aintree is the place where I had my Gastric Bypass and so I visit the specialists over in Liverpool most months. On Thursday we went as a family to eat out at the Toby Carvery and it was a really great experience.
When we arrived we were offered a booth big enough for our group of five. There was John and Sylvia, myself, Rachel and Amelia. Rachel is like a sister to me and her daughter and Sylvia get on really well.
When we arrived we have a great menu choice. There were main meals or the classic Carvery which we all opted for. The food looked fantastic and the Carvery meat was delicious. During the week the Toby Carvery has a special deal where you can have a Carvery and dessert for £6.75. I really think thats good value for money.
The Chef was really friendly and carved the meat. She gave us all massive Yorkshire puddings and we were then able to choose our own veg, gravy and condiments. It was great to eat out as a family and have lots of fun while we ate a tasty and delicious meal.
Sylvia and I had turkey while John opted for beef. The vegetables were so yummy and I loved the mashed potatoes. Seriously, the Yorkshire puddings were massive but very nice.
We also had refillable drinks which were really great. John had lemonade and I noticed there was a fantastic option for adding flavours to drinks such as cherry, vanilla and lime. We thought that was a great novelty and added selection to the drinks.
The Toby Carvery had activity sheets for the kids to colour in and draw on and when Sylvia accidentally spilled her drink, we were quickly helped and given a new sheet for her to colour in. The staff were very friendly and the service was all done with a smile and friendliness.
The roast meal was fantastic but the desserts were also amazing and we all ordered something different. John had a strawberry shortcake Sundae and Rachel had a crumble.
Sylvia and Amelia had chocolate brownie sundaes and then ate a good chunk of my dessert too. We had a fantastic time at the Toby Carvery in Aintree Liverpool. It gave us a chance to chill out as a family and enjoy our evening together and was a fantastic way to start the beginning of the school holidays.
We were given a complimentary meal in return for this review.
