What Is Legoland Japan?

Legoland Japan is an incredible theme park in Nagoya. It is designed for children from ages two to twelve although older children and adults will enjoy it as well.

The park is outdoors and covers nine hectares. It features over forty rides and attractions. It is organized into seven LEGO-themed lands: Lego City, Adventureland, Miniland, Knight’s Kingdom, Pirate Shores, Bricktopia, and Duplo Village.

Many people especially enjoy the LEGO models that are on display throughout the park. There are over 10,000 of them and together they are created from over 17 million LEGO bricks.

What Should I Know Before I Go?

Legoland Japan typically opens at 10 AM. It closes at 5 PM on weekdays and at 6 PM on weekends, but there are often extended hours on national holidays and in the summertime. It is open year-round.

Admission prices are based on age. The adult bracket includes anyone over the age of thirteen; they will pay 5100 yen during the off-peak season and 7100 yen during the peak. Children ages three to twelve will pay 3800 during off-peak times and 4600 during the busier times of the year. Children under three are free.

There are ticket discounts available if you buy online in advance. You can save a lot of money this way.

How Can I Have the Best Time Ever at Legoland Japan?

As with any theme park, there are a number of strategies and tips to consider to ensure that you will have a particularly enjoyable time.

First, you should study the park map in advance. This way, you and your family will know what to expect. You can discuss the rides and attractions that can’t be missed. You’ll also know where important things are like bathrooms and places to stop for snacks and drinks.

Second, if possible, try to go on a weekday. The park is far less crowded on weekdays and you will spend less time waiting in line for rides and other things.

Dress in layers and prepare for the weather. It can be very cool in Nagoya in the morning, but by mid-day, it can be quite warm. Rain is also not infrequent. Prepare for all possible weather conditions.

Food and drink can be expensive in the park so you might want to eat before you go and just have a few snacks while inside.

Check showtimes for movies and shows when you enter the park so you don’t miss any of the great entertainment.

Have Fun At Legoland Japan

Legoland Japan is fun for the whole family and is something that should not be missed when visiting Japan. You and your kids will have a blast on the rides and you’ll make memories you won’t soon forget. Have fun!
