Broccoli is a great vegetable to eat. With no fat or cholesterol in Broccoli, this veg does have lots of potassium, dietary fibre and protein. Broccoli is also filled with vitamins and minerals such as Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Calcium, Iron, Vit D, B-12, B-6 and Magnesium. Broccoli, apples and walnuts have anti-inflammatory effects in the body.

Ingredients for This Broccoli Salad Recipe

  • 1 head of broccoli
  • 1 Apple
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup pecans or walnuts
  • 1/2 cup plain greek yogurt
  • 2 Tablespoons mayonaise
  • 1 Tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 Tablespoon honey
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

How to Make Broccoli Salad

Combine the greek yogurt, mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey and salt and pepper. Adjust to taste and set aside.

Chop the broccoli and apple into bite-sized pieces.

Toss with the raisins and pecans and then add 2-3 Tablespoons of the dressing. Add more dressing as desired.

Ingredients

  • 1 head of broccoli
  • 1 apple

  3. this is very good I didn’t have a head of broccoli but I had Frozen so I use 9 oz of course it can be a little wetter than your crispy head of broccoli but it was still pretty good good flavors overall I also used pineapple yogurt which went really good with it because that’s what I had
