SureFeed Sealed Pet Bowl Review
This week Yoda and Casper reviewed a SureFeed Sealed Pet Bowl. The SureFeed pet bowl is a bowl which can be sealed. With a moveable lid which moves automatically with sensors the lid protects and keeps food fresher for longer and keeps bugs and flies away.
The SureFeed Pet bowl came in a box with a booklet of instructions. The Instructions demonstrate different modes and levels for the pet bowl to open as your pet approaches and therefore you can start with the training mode and slowly introduce the moving lid to your cat or dog.
For us, we decided to skip the training and set the bowl to simply open as our dogs, Yoda and Casper approached. We wanted to see if this would work and for us it did. Yoda is quite smart as is Casper and they were really happy to give the bowl a go without any reservations.
I was really pleased that we did not have to spend time training them but the option is there for a pet who is more unsure.
The bowl is quite a good size and large enough for a days meal. You can easily wash it out and I really do love the lid which comes up and down.
I think the only downside is that you need batteries for the dog bowl and thats one more expense we don’t really want. However having said that, they only need changing once every six months and the bowl does keep food fresher for longer so if you have an issue with keeping food fresh or your pet likes to graze throughout the day, this could be a great option.
The Surefeed bowl also keeps odours and the smell of food to a minimum which is a bonus too.
We do like the bowl and will continue to have it available for Yoda and Casper and make use of the fact it can keep the food fresher for longer. We don’t tend to get flies or pests but that is a bonus too.
