Super Heroes Party Costumes
This week is a party theme on the blog and as you know we had the most amazing Super Heroes Party for Sylvia which she really enjoyed and there was some really cool costumes. I didn’t expect to ever be hosting a Super hero party. Last year was a Princess Theme party but this year Sylvia wanted something different and I wanted to do something special.
We had quite a few different characters at the party and with permission I’m sharing these pictures as ideas for the type of costumes children can wear to a fancy dress or super heroes party.
So we shall start with Sylvia who happened to dress up as Wonder Woman. She loved her costume and I think it was really fab.
So at our birthday party we had some super duper costumes. We had batman, batdog, wonder woman, spider girl, spider man, cat woman, Captain America and the Incredible hulk.
If you need to get a costume for your child’s party or as a fancy dress or even world book day you could buy one from a supermarket or fancy dress store.
The other option is to make your own which is really simple. Some of the kids did not have costumes and so we made some capes from pillow cases and Sylvia made her friends masks to wear.
Another option is car boot sales. When Sylvia was younger I went to a car boot sale and managed to pick quite a few fancy dress costumes up for around one pound each. They were all good quality and lasted a number of years.
The best thing is once you have a costume ic can be worn over and over. Sylvia can wear her new costume to world book day or even the next fancy dress party she is invited to. I hope you like the photos. It was fun seeing al the kids in their costumes and was a fantastic Super Hero Party.
I hope these Super heroes costumes are helpful and give some good ideas to another parent wanting to find a costume or thinking of doing a Super Heroes party.
