Super Cute Toilet Tube Frog Craft For Kids

Today we have a fantastic toilet tube frog craft for kids on The Inspiration Edit today. As a child I remember going on walks with my parents in the woods and around ponds and lakes.

One of the things I really enjoyed was looking for Frogs. My dad would tell us stories about finding frogs when he was a child and it’s something that has always stayed with me. Today we have this fantastic toilet tube idea. I hope you will love.

Our first post for spring is this toilet tube craft which was really fun and easy to make and I’m so excited to share. I’ve made a template if you would like to download the head, feet and tongue. Enjoy.

Making the Frog Craft

To begin with you will need to paint your Toilet tubes green.

I gave my toilet rolls one coat but you can do more than one coat if needed.

Next download and print out the template. Use the pencil and templates to create five green heads from the Green Cardstock.

Create 5 pairs of feet and 5 tongues.

Once you have cut out your frogs feet, use the glue gun to glue the feet to the bottom of the toilet tubes.

Once the feet are complete, cut out five tongues for your speckled frogs from the red cardstock.

Using a black permanent marker or posca pen, draw eyes and a mouth onto your speckled green faces.

Next roll the red cardstock up and glue the end onto the mouth of your frog using the glue gun.

Next hot glue the frogs heads onto the top of the toilet tube.

I placed the glue onto the tube and ten stuck the head onto the tube.

Now it’s your turn.

Why not have fun making these speckled frogs with the kids or you could make a toilet tube frog craft yourself as a mat time or story making resource.

It’s simple to do and something I found enjoyable. I’m sure the kids will find it super fun too.

Cleaning paint brushes after your craft can sometimes be tricky. My top tip would be to clean painting equipment and brushes using apple cider vinegar. Enjoy.
