Stripes Bows and Boots Sylvias Style

I am a huge fan of stripes. You may have noticed that in many photos I wear stripy tops. It’s one of my favourites. I don’t know why but I feel good in stripes, horizontal not vertical. So I naturally fell in love with the Striped Mesh Spliced Dress For Girls.

Sylvia loves pretty. She loves skirts and dresses. She likes organza, and puffy skirts and bows. So together we felt this dress would be a great one for her to order. For under seven pounds I thought it was a brilliant price.

I’ve never really ordered clothes from a Chinese store before. Sammy Dress has warehouses in China, USA and Europe and our parcel arrived super fast in two days. 

The quality of the dress is really good. I was waiting to see if the materials were good or not but they really are similar quality to the items we buy from Asda and Tesco and I was really pleased with this dress.

Most importantly Sylvia loves the dress and could not wait to try it out.

Usually, my husband takes photos but for this photoshoot, I really wanted to have a turn behind the camera. I did pretty well and the photos with a little editing came out perfect.

I was going to get Sylvia to wear some pretty ballet pump style shoes but she wanted to wear her black boots. I wasn’t going to say no and the boots do bring out the bow in the middle. An interesting pick but it worked well.

So we took photos just outside our home. It took five minutes, the editing took a few hours but it was fun. I loved every moment and Sylvia now has a great new item for her wardrobe. Seriously….we need a second wardrobe, there is no space for all her clothes.

We also got a new coat in the mail from Sammy Dress which we will be featuring in the coming weeks. I’m loving writing these blog posts and hope you the reader are enjoying it too.

Next year, I plan to create a fantastic photo book of Sylvia in all her outfits. It’s a fun project I want to work on and will be a nice keepsake for us. Fashion really is fun and I really like this dress. What do you think?
